- Notes
The first printing of the confession, “Printed in the Year, 1677”, without a printer’s name or place (Wing gives London), as EEBO-TCP transcribed it (A34255). The text
lbcf1689follows is the fifth edition of 1720. Its preface, “To the Judicious and Impartial Reader”, is inprose/preface.md, and its appendix on baptism inprose/appendix.md. It was checked against the issue with Benjamin Harris’s imprint (London, 1677), of the same setting. Every departure from A34255 is inconfessions/lbcf1677/EMENDATIONS.md.- Side by side
