THE ARGVMENT.

The necessitie of Prayer, the conditions of good prayer, and a rule for those things that are to be asked.

Wherefore is prayer necessary for Christians?

Because it is the principall part of that thankfulnes which God requireth at our hands: as also, because the Lord bestoweth his grace, and the holy Ghost vpon them alone, who with true gronings doe continuallie begge these things at his handes, and doea giue him thanks for the same.b
