THE ARGVMENT.

By whom and by what means faith is begotten and confirmed in vs: Of the Sacraments in generall what they are, & of the vse or end of the word and Sacraments, and of the number of the Sacraments of the new Testament.

Seeing then, faith alone maketh vs partakers of Christ, and all his benefites, from whence proceedeth this faith?

From the holie Ghost, who by the preaching of the Gospel, doth kindle the same in our heartes, and dotha confirme it by the vse of the Sacramentes.b
